If you are interested in paleoclimate and paleoenvironmental research using organic geochemistry and stable isotopes, get in touch. There are often funded research opportunities for motivated and creative graduate students (PhD or MS) or I can work with you on your own funding applications (like the NSF GRFP). I am happy to answer any questions you may have about working with the group, the kinds of research questions we are exploring and how your interests may dovetail, future job prospects with these skills, and more. Check out this great advice for your initial email to a faculty member, or this great advice on writing your graduate application statement of purpose. Applications for the MAB Lab are due by January 1, to begin the following August (Fall Semester), with program details found here.

Potential postdoctoral researchers are welcome to contact me to start a conversation about possible research ideas. I currently do not have funding to support postdoctoral researchers with my group, but would be happy to help with US or international funding opportunities that you have looked into.

Interested collaborators or visitors are also welcome to send an email. We have hosted a variety of US and international graduate and undergraduate students and other researchers, and love having visitors in the lab.

There are also opportunities for undergraduate researchers in the lab (funded or for course credit that counts towards your GPA). Please send an email with your year of study and major, and availability (weekly/semester).
